On Sunday June 26th Mon and Dad loaded a lot of stuff in the car and asked me to get in the back seat.  I found my sleeping pad and bed in the seat and off we went.  I was nervous at first but settled down and and when the ride made my eyes  heavy I fell asleep and took a nap.  We stopped at the Travelodge in Flagstaff.  When I went in the room there were lots of new smells, so ok some not so good.

Mom and Dad fed me and we headed back out to a restaurant called Macy’s where they let me sit outside with them while they ate.

That night I spent my first night in a motel, I still didn’t like the smells but it was fun sleeping there with Mom and Dad.
